Wholesome nourishing food is recommended and indeed necessary for every child’s wellbeing. Wholemeal bread, fruit, milk, fruit juice etc. are encouraged. No cans, glass bottles, fizzy drinks or crisps are allowed.
Children in school share limited space with a large number of others all day. Close attention should be paid to personal cleanliness and neatness. Hair should be checked regularly. Adequate sleep is important if children are to make good progress in school. Teachers should be informed of any health or emotional problems or conditions from which children may suffer.
