Sensory Room

Here in Scoil Naomh Muire Eas Géitine we are very proud of our brand new sensory/relaxation room which became fully finalised in November 2018. It is a beautiful room with artificial grass on the floor and sky blue walls. It has a bubble lamp very kindly sponsored by the McCarthy family's "Lights for Life" and 2 large beanbags very kindly donated by Neassa Harris. It also has a bubble type mirror on the wall and a projector which projects soothing images on the wall. The room is also equipped with a variety of small sensory equipment kept in bags which are rotated on a weekly basis. We would like to thank all the businesses and companies, too many to name here who have contributed in any way towards our sensory room, which is a fantastic amenity to have in our school.
