Our school took place to Old Rectory, Croom and Active Kingdom, Tralee on Friday, June 14th. A great day was had by all

the 2nd class graduation ceremony took place in the school hall on Tuesday, June 11th. We wish to thank all involved in this lovely ceremony

We were delighted to receive a visit from the Foynes Fire Brigade to educate the children on fire safety. We wish to thank the fire officers for this visit

The school was delighted to receive a special delivery of Icecream which was kindly organised by the Parents Council.

Our Sports Day took place on Wednesday, June 12th. We wish to thank the Parents Council and many volunteers for making this day a great success.

On Tuesday, May 7th, First class enjoyed a trip to Dublin Castle and the Zoo as part of the Roads Safety Authority competition and were runners up.

20 children celebrated their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 5th. Sincere thanks to Fr. Seán Ó Longaigh for the lovely ceremony

First class went on a trip to the local playground on Friday, May 3rd. The children enjoyed the playtime and the sunshine

Our Easter draw took place on Thursday, April 11th. We would like to thank all who supported our draw. A total of €275.00 was raised for the Junior School

We closed for Easter holidays on Friday April 12th. We had a non uniform day. The children enjoyed our Easter egg hunt on this sunny day.

The students of Junior Infants visited the Remembrance Garden on Thursday, March 28th.

Our First Class enjoyed the lovely weather on their Spring Walk yesterday to the Remembrance Garden.

Our school celebrated World Book day on Thursday, March 7th. The children brought in their favourite book and enjoyed sharing it with their friends.

We held a no uniform day today with donations being raised for 'Do it for Diarmuid'. A total of €492.25 was collected. Thank you all for your generosity

The children in all classes had great fun making and sampling pancakes for Pancake Tuesday which took place on Tuesday 5th March

The children had great fun making butter in the class. They got a chance to taste this lovely butter

Our Senior Infants recently went on their Spring walk during the lovely February weather and visited the Garden of Remembrance

Our school celebrated Friendship week from 11-15th February

Second Class went to Supervalu and all classes went to Centra for our annual Carol Singing.

Our First Class went on their annual trip to the Foynes Firestation on Wednesday, November 21st.

Our First Class Nativity Play took place in the Church on Tuesday, December 18th and was enjoyed by all.

We held a non-uniform day on Friday, December 7th in aid of Frances and Patsy McCarthy's Lights for Life. €278.17 was collected in total by both Schools.

Our Sensory/Relaxation room became fully operational in November 2018

Ms. Geraldine O'Sullivan visited our school to teach the children about the origin of wool making.The children were given an opportunity to work with wool.

Our Halloween celebrations took place on Thursday, October 25th 2018. The children dressed up in their Halloween outfits and enjoyed the games and treats.

Our annual nature trip to Curraghchase took place on Friday, October 19th.

Geoff Hunt visited our school on Monday, October 1st to teach the children about wildflowers

Visit of the Liam McCarthy cup and Limerick hurler Sean Finn to the school on Monday September 24th.
