The boys and girls of Senior Infants were delighted to receive a visit from the lovely animals of Wooly Farm

2nd Class enjoyed the Wooly Farm visit. They enjoyed meeting the different animals and loved the Llama!

On Tuesday, June 15th Wooly Farm mobile farm visited our school. The children enjoyed interacting with the animals.

We congratulate Michael on his wonderful school garden. Michael was happy to share his lovely lettuce with the staff. Even the Llama enjoyed his treat!

On Friday, June 11th 1st Class visited the Franciscan Abbey. Historian Anthony Sheehy was on hand to give a talk on the history of the Abbey

On Monday June 14th 2nd Class went on a historical tour of the Franciscan Abbey. Local historian Anthony Sheehy was on hand to give a talk on the Abbey.

We congratulate 1st and 2nd class who were runners up in the annual countrywide poster competition. Both classes had a virtual RSA party on Thursday.

Many thanks to our parents council who delivered icecreams for all the children in the school. What a lovely surprise.

A past pupil Laura O'Shaughnessy, representing Limerick GAA Coaching and Games is visiting our school for 4 weeks to teach the children football skills.

The girls and boys enjoy playtime. They had fun playing cards.

2nd Class recently decided to adopt 2 pygmy goats. Their donation will help towards the care of the animals that call Wild Encounters their home.

As part of their music lesson, the girls and boys of Senior Infants got a chance to play with some musical instruments.

The girls and boys of Junior Infants had an interesting Maths lesson learning about money.

The boys and girls from Senior Infants recently paid a visit to the Garden of Remembrance where they said a prayer to Mary as May is the month of Mary.

The boys and girls made the most of the fine weather and went for a walk wearing their facemasks. They also paid a visit to the Garden of Remembrance

As part of their Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths lesson pupils in First Class had great fun building bridges.

2nd Class were due to celebrate their First Holy Communion on May 1st and 8th. To mark the occasion 2nd class were treated to the famous Shanahans cone

2nd Class enjoyed their engineering hour using lego blocks. We have future Engineers, Architects and construction workers in our class.

On Monday, December 21st we had a lovely visit from Santa Claus. The children were delighted to be able to see and wave to Santa.

The children visited Patsy and Frances McCarthy to see their Christmas Lights display. This year they are raising funds for the Mid West Cancer Centre.

The girls and boys of 1st class are enjoying working in their new pods in the classroom and love playing with the new lego blocks and art supplies.

We wish the best of luck to the Limerick Senior Hurling team who play in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final on Sunday, December 13th. Luimneach Abú!

On Wednesday Dec. 9th we presented the Gardaí and Foynes Fire Service with Hampers,Christmas cards and Christmas decorations for the Abbot Close residents

Today the children dressed up in their Halloween customs and had a party before the mid-term break.

We welcome our 18 new Junior Infants who have joined us this year. They have settled in very well and are enjoying their time with us.
