1st and 2nd Class visited Dublin Castle and Dublin Zoo as runners up in the Seatbelt sheriff and Hi Glo Silver national competitions. Well done everyone

The girls and boys visited the Old Rectory in Croom on Wednesday, May 25th for their school tour and had a wonderful day.

First Confession for 2nd Class took place on April 4th.

First and 2nd Class received their Food Dude certificates for completing the Food Dude tasting programme.

The girls and boys celebrated their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 1st. Many thanks to Ms. Moloney and Fr. Sean for the lovely ceremony.

The boys and girls enjoyed their Easter egg hunt before the start of their Easter holidays.

The girls and boys of First and Second Class were delighted to help Ms. Moloney to make pancakes to celebrate pancake Tuesday.

Askeaton Junior National School recently celebrated World Book Day. The children brought in their favourite book from home to read in class

First and Second Class love to display their St. Patrick's Day artwork.

St. Patrick's Day was celebrated with an non uniform day in aid of the Ronald McDonald House. Thanks to all who contributed to this worthy cause.

First and Second class were delighted to make a Valentine card for the special one in their life!

Food Dudes has started in our school. A sample of a fruit and veg will be given to all pupils. This programme is to promote healthy eating.

The boys and girls of Junior Infants enjoyed a game of alphabet bingo to help them with their letters.

We recently celebrated World Book Day. The children brought in their favourite book for reading time.

Our Junior Infants paid a visit to the Remembrance Garden and also visited the church to light some candles and say a little prayer

The boys and girls in Senior Infants were a great help to Mrs Daly with pancake making.

The children of Junior Infants celebrated Pancake Tuesday on March 1st and enjoyed making and eating pancakes.

Today we visited McCarthy's Lights for Life display. This year the chosen charity is The Butterfly Club. We wish to thank Frances and Patsy for our visit.
