Our school tours took place in the Old Rectory Croom for JNR and SNR Infants, Mary I Activity Center for 1st and 2nd and Ballyhass Lakes for 3rd to 6th .

We were delighted to welcome the Mick Mackey Munster Senior Hurling cup to our school. Limerick are 6 in a row Munster champions. Well done Limerick.

6th Class celebrated their graduation with a lovely ceremony in the school hall. They paid a visit to Shanahans shop for a lovely icecream

We wish to congratulate our 6th class pupils who have graduated from Scoil Naomh Muire and we wish them the very best of luck in post primary school

We were delighted to receive a visit from Foynes Fire Brigade who explained fire hazards to everyone.

We celebrated Wellbeing Week with lots of activities, a bake sale and icecream cart and older pupils enjoyed helping the younger pupils with schoolwork.

First Holy Communion for 2nd Class took place on Sunday, May 12th. We wish to congratulate the girls and boys on their special day

Junior Infants were very busy setting lawn seed for their houses. They enjoyed learning about planting lawn seed and look forward to watching it grow.

On Friday, May 3rd we held a non-uniform day with all proceeds going to Pieta House. Our ice cream cart even made an appearance on the day

Our 6th class girls and boys received the sacrament of Confirmation on Friday, March 22nd. We wish to congratulate them on their special day.

5th class were very busy this week making their Easter Crosses using clothes pegs. Well done girls and boys.

On Friday, March 15th we celebrated St. Patrick's Day in the school. The girls and boys dressed up in lovely green outfits to celebrate the day.

We recently celebrated World Book Day. The girls and boys dressed up in costumes of a character from their favourite book.

A girls inter school soccer tournament was held on Tuesday, March 5th in Seanchoill Sports Complex, Parteen. Our team are through to the group final stage

We welcomed Foynes NS to our school on Monday, February 26th to take part in a soccer tournament on our new astro turf facilities.

The girls and boys of 2nd Class received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday, February 27th. The class worked hard to prepare for this Sacrament

All classes enjoyed making pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. The girls and boys enjoyed their favourite fillings like strawberries, sprinkles and nutella

We celebrated St Bridget's Day in our school by learning all about St. Bridget and making St. Bridget's crosses.

Junior Infants were learning shapes as part of their Maths lesson. They went for a walk around the school and discovered the different shapes.

3rd and 4th Class visited a lot of countries during their Geography lesson. The class ipads were used to discover facts about these countries.

1st Class were busy measuring the school yard and classroom as part of their maths lesson in measurement

Junior Infants decided to make some bird feeders to help the birds during the cold weather. A robin dropped in to say thank you!

We were delighted to see lots of grandparents visiting our school on Grandparents Day and plenty of photographs were taken on the day.

Grandparents day was celebrated on Tuesday, January 23rd with mass and refreshments were served afterward in the PE hall.

We were delighted to welcome our former teacher and Limerick footballer Danny Neville to the school to present medals to our West 9 A Side champions.

6th Class paid a visit to the Junior Infants classroom and helped with their Christmas artwork

2nd Class recently performed their Nativity play for the Abbot close nursing home residents and presented them all with handmade Christmas cards.

Senior Infants have been busy practising for our Christmas Nativity play which takes place on Monday, December 18th.

As part of science week Junior Infants built their own boat and did a test to see would it sink or float

As part of the Aistear playtime programme Junior Infants enjoyed dressing up and playing doctors and nurses.

Our Senior Infants were very busy today writing their letters to Santa Claus. Mrs O'Connor and Mr. Hayes were delighted with their lovely neat writing.

Junior Infants had fun using clay as part of their art lesson. They used their imagination to create some lovely shapes.

To celebrate this year's Late Late Toy Show 6th class held a toy show quiz. 1st and 6th class designed some lovely Toy show jumpers

We are delighted to have our new astro turf field in operation. We wish to thank everyone who helped with our fundraising for this fantastic facility

We wish to thank everyone who contributed to our Team Hope shoe box appeal. Over 100 shoe boxes were collected for this worthy cause.

Halloween has arrived in school. The girls and boys dressed up in some scary costumes. Even the teachers looked scary!!

A soccer tournament for 1st to 3rd classes will take place tomorrow in our astroturf. Players must wear their team colours and their runners

Futsal training for 1st to 6th Class is currently taking place in the school. Futsal is similar to soccer but played on a smaller field with 5 per team.
